Waterco secures two new exclusive distribution agreements

Waterco has secured the exclusive distribution rights for two of the industry's newest and most innovative pool products – the Davbroz Safe'T'Suction, a patent pending wet-edge pool cleaner connection system, and the Ecoskim, an award-winning, eco-friendly pool skimming device.

Both products represent a huge leap forward in pool equipment innovation. The Safe'T'Suction offers pool owners a safer way to clean wet edge pools where a skimmer box cannot be fitted, providing a safe vacuum connection point for manual and automatic pool cleaners.

"For standard wet-edge pools without a skimmer box, there's no easy or safe way to install a suction pool cleaner or to manually vacuum the pool or catch tank," says Waterco group marketing director, Bryan Goh.

"The Davbroz Safe'T'Suction now offers a great solution."

The Safe'T'Suction can also be combined with a skimmer box for more convenient pool cleaning and can be fitted anywhere on the suction line before the pump – in or out of the water – which makes the Safe'T'Suction perfect for manual cleaning water features, ponds, catch tanks and spas.

And the Ecoskim – recent recipient of the prestigious Smart Approved Watermark Consumer Product of the Year 2011 – attaches to existing pool skimmer boxes to allow for greater fluctuations in pool water levels due to evaporation and heavy rainfall, without compromising on water quality.

"With the Ecoskim, topping up pool water is a thing of the past. And in times of heavy rainfall, rather than purge the excess water, the Ecoskim continues to ensure pool water is skimmed adequately," says Goh.

"This innovation is capable of skimming water and operating a suction cleaner concurrently. It means that the suction cleaner will clean the pool's floor and walls without impeding its skimming action. Without the Ecoskim, a suction cleaner would block off the skimmer and prevent it from skimming the surface of the pool.

"The Ecoskim literally saves pool owners tens of thousands of litres of water each year, not to mention hundreds of dollars in water rates."

Unlike the average skimmer box which operates within a maximum 70mm water level fluctuation window, the Ecoskim is capable of operating as water levels fluctuate up to 350mm. In fact, the Ecoskim can maintain water levels for up to six months of zero rainfall before topping up is necessary.
