Ammonia removal plant, West Sussex, United Kingdom

The filtration system was designed to automatically operate at the end of a sewage plant with pre-filtered water containing high levels of ammonia. Up until now this effluent carried Ammonia levels which were far too high to allow the Water company to discharge to a nearby river without additional treatment. 4 x LCP2350 nozzle plat 4 bar Deep Bed filters, equipped with top and side hatches and viewing sight glasses as well as nozzle plate for an air scour system were installed. The entire installation is automated and all water testing is continuously data logged.
