How to Use:

For cartridge filters & DE filters

1. Dismantle filter and hose elements to remove all surface debris

2. Add 1 litre of product to 50 litres of water in a suitable-sized plastic bucket

3. Place the filter elements into the diluted product solution

4. Allow to soak for a minimum 30 minutes

5. Rinse thoroughly and reassemble the filter, and resume normal filtration.

Media Filters ( Sand, Glass & Zelbrite)

1. For initial media filter treatment, simply pour the product into the filter and allow to soak for 1 hour before a thorough backwash and rinse, for annual treatment, simply pour in through the skimmer at the start of your backwash process.

Media Filters - 1L will treat up to a 25inch filter

Cartridge filter - Mix 1 part Filter cleaner with 50 parts warm water and soak for a minimum 30 minutes

Tips:

1. To get the most from AquaPure Filter Cleaner & Degreaser, it is best to Backwash your media filter or clean your cartridge filter before the treatment.

2. This will remove any build up of larger debris allowing the Filter Cleaner & Degreaser to effectively degrease and remove oils, lotions, and other contaminants that accumulate on the filter media.

3. When treating a cartridge filter, it is recommended to use warm water in the mix to soak the cartridge.

4. For a fast clean Filter Cleaner & Degreaser can be added to a spray bottle and sprayed directly onto the cartridge before hosing clean.
