Waterco launches the energy efficient Admiral Robotic Wall Scrubber Cleaner
International swimming pool and water treatment specialist Waterco Ltd has unveiled its most advanced and sophisticated robotic pool cleaner yet - the Admiral Robotic Wall Scrubber Cleaner.
'This model represents the next generation in pool cleaners and is the culmination of extensive research, development and testing,' says Waterco group marketing director, Bryan Goh.
And one of the best things about the Admiral Robotic Wall Scrubber is that it operates on only 120 watts of power. 'This is a massive 90% reduction in energy consumption compared to pressure pool cleaners,' says Goh.
Self-driven by three internal direct drive motors which power its front and rear Gel-pro brushes, the Admiral Robotic Wall Scrubber cleans pool floors as well as powerfully climbing and scrubbing pool steps and walls to the water line in only three hours – with pinpoint navigation and superior traction capabilities.
The Admiral Robotic Wall Scrubber intelligently replicates the pool’s filtration system, vacuuming water, dirt and debris via an internal pump and filtering the water via an internal filtration system. Its extra-large vacuum intake ports are placed directly behind both cleaning brushes, enabling the vacuuming of large leaves and debris.
The strategic location of these ports, combined with the advanced geometry of its underbelly, allow debris to be vacuumed, not only from under the cleaner, but also from its sides.
'The cleaner acts as a micro filter and circulates the pool water reducing filter maintenance, saving precious water and pool chemicals,' says Goh.
'Pool water is expelled through the top of the cleaner, minimising pool floor debris turbulence. And its quick drain system allows water to rapidly flow back into the pool, making it really easy to lift out of the pool – unlike other models on the market.'
